Esk Decade Lieutenant Dariet Suleir was a junior lieutenant of the Esk decade of Justice of Toren at the time of the annexation of Shis’urna.

Early Life and Career[]
Dariet is a member of Suleir House, an old and wealthy house with clientage to a prominent branch of Mianaai House.
Dariet was stationed aboard Justice of Toren in the Esk decade, sometime after Awn Elming had already achieved the rank of decade senior.
Destruction of Justice of Toren[]
While Justice of Toren was en route from Shis’urna to Valskaay, Dariet was the first to notice Justice of Toren One Esk’s uncontrollable reactions to the conversation happening between Awn Elming and the anti-reform Anaander Mianaai happening below them on the Var deck. Following fighting breaking out between the segments of Justice of Toren and the bodies of Mianaai on Var deck, Dariet and the other officers of Esk decade began thawing out extra Esk segments to assist the Lord of the Radch. Dariet Suleir was killed when Anaander Mianaai breached the heat shields of Toren’s engines, vaporizing the ship and all onboard.
Personality and Traits[]
While the other junior Esk decade lieutenants disliked Awn Elming and envied her rank, Dariet Suleir was fond of her. Dariet also enjoyed the singing of One Esk, which was also disliked by her fellow officers. The anti-reform faction of Anaander Mianaai believed Dariet to hold pro-reform sympathies.
